At Safeway, since the value of the coupon exceeds the value of the item (even though it is only 1 cent), you cannot use the coupon. They cannot (or will not?) manually adjust the value of the coupon. Therefore, several of these free deals do not work.
Every store is differnt, but I just returned from Safeway within the hour. I purchased every one of the items I listed. Do you live in the Southern Colorado area?

Safeway can get a little touchy when it comes to a coupon being over the amount of the item. It will ALWAYS beep. And there hasn't been a time that the checker didn't say something or look at me strange, but they have always pushed them through for me :)
I could not find the sausage that was on sale for .99? Maybe it is Regional?
